Cooking with Essential Oils

A great cooking deal for someone just starting out.

I really enjoy cooking, so, when it comes to cookware I don't skimp on quality. I buy All-Clad, Staub (un-coated cast iron) and Le Creuset (for enameled cast iron.) When I worked retail years ago I learned that even though two retail stores may carry the same item, the manufacturing process can be different thus affecting the overall quality.

This is not to say that the one purchased at a discount store isn't good, just that the one purchased at a specialty store is much better.

Now when it comes to actually purchasing cookware I shop only two places.

Williams-Sonoma is by far my favorite. When you walk in you know they are serious about cooking and quality when it comes to cookware. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Their variety of product lines isn't large but the quality of what they have can't be beat.

If I can't find what I am looking for at Williams-Sonoma I then go to Cooking.com. Their selection is a bit larger, the prices are good and they just announced that Standard Shipping is $5.99. In todays economy saving money is a good thing.

For this holiday season I will tell you about any special deals I come across at both places - like the Calphalon 8"/10" non-stick Fry Pan set. I have looked at them in Williams-Sonoma. They are light weight - good for those with weak grips - and easy to clean - good for those on the go. They would make good gifts for college, or high school grads, just starting out and for older folks.

They are also a great deal at $60.
