Peppermint Iced Tea

6 Green Tea bags

1/4 cup Young Living Blue Agave

3 drops Young Living peppermint essential oil

3 limes, washed well and quartered

In the bottom of a 64 oz. pitcher, pour the agave and peppermint essential oil.

Pour hot water into pitcher and stir. Add tea bags and steep for 6-7 minutes (steeping longer will release the bitter tannins in the tea leaves, so set your timer!)

Fill tall iced tea glasses with ice and tea mixture, squeeze one lime quarter into each glass, garnish with a sprig of mint leaf and serve.

Makes 16 - 4 oz. servings


An important note regarding essential oils and cooking:

NEVER EVER use an essential oil for cooking or for internal use unless it is the Young Living brand of essential oils. Other brands are not suitable for cooking or using internally and could cause you great harm - seriously!
